Michael Rollin

Mike Rollin is an Adjunct Professor of Civil Procedure. In private practice, Professor Rollin is a trial and appellate lawyer who handles complex litigation across an array of industries and in the public sector. In 20 years of practice, he has handled cases ranging from multi-billion-dollar mortgage-backed securities disputes to interesting and novel constitutional and election law questions. The clients who have come to rely on Professor Rollin’s experience and expertise include Kroenke Sports and Entertainment, the Denver Nuggets, AIG, Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., the Colorado Contractors Association, and the Town of Vail, among others. He is also an arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”). Prior to his law career, Professor Rollin served as a deputy sheriff and in the military and remains engaged in the first responder community as a police academy instructor.
 
Professor Rollin earned his law degree at the University of Denver College of Law, where he graduated first in his class. He earned his bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in political science with an emphasis in public administration from the University of Colorado, Denver. Professor Rollin is licensed to practice in Colorado, California, and New York, as well as in numerous federal district and appellate courts around the country.
